Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Have you ever had a mentor, who through challenging you, also nurtured you to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually? Every time you sat with him you prayed to live to see him one more time? Welcome to the blessed month of Ramadan. As we get into the long days of summer, I remind myself and all of us, that fasting is our God-given medicine for taqwa. Allah swt says, Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may attain taqwa (2:183). Fasting LEADS us DIRECTLY to taqwa, an active consciousness of the presence of Allah swt and reverence for Him.
MAS National has put together a Ramadan campaign of helpful blog articles, riddles, health tips, tarbiya gems, and much more which will be posted weekly on our website or social media accounts. Be sure to follow along. I pray that each and everyone one of us, both individually and collectively, realizes the abundance of benefits in this blessed month and I ask Allah swt Most High to accept from us our fasting, our deeds, and to make it a means of attaining taqwa and Janna. Ameen. Ramadan Mubarak!
Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
